Today is Feb. 5th 20019 my wife took our 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroad to Tire Discounters on Bardstown Rd. in Louisville Ky.

about an hour ago, she bought 4 new tires over $700 worth of tires.

She left out trying to get to work and didn't have the time to stay for the FREE wheel alignment.

She stopped to get gas while pumping the gas she noticed that the two rims on that side of the car were damaged. She went back to the tire store and made it known that this had happened.

Someone came out and took a look at the rims and told her that they did not do this, she must have did this while driving!

She called me and sent me pictures of the damage. She told the man " My husband takes very good care of this car and he washes and cleans it all the time and he would have noticed any obvious damage like this.

I look at the picture she sent and I noticed something,

1.The damage was fresh

2. The damage on each rim had the exact same groove pattern, if it were damaged while driving as Tire Discounters claimed, a moving car with that type of weight will literally bounce off of an obstacle and never have the exact same pattern of damage.

3. The damage on both rims is the same length, how do you have random damage WHILE DRIVING and have a the same pattern and the same length damage.

4. To make things worse, they realized they damaged the rims, and took the oil they use for mounting and some dirt and tried to make the damage look old, it just looks like a new gouge with some dirt.

I am called some legal counsel today, because it is mighty suspect that my wife and I never seen any damage to our vehicle , a vehicle that we keep very clean, and just so happen the day that she gets tires , the rims get damaged out of the clear blue.

Tire Discounters damaged out property and they are trying to hide it and they think denial is going to get them out of it, but not this time.

There are a million venues and channels to access, they will pay for my property.

Awesome

Nails and Bolts love my tires, so I had to call Charles B and the last moment and he told me to bring my car in. Again Charles saved me again by repairing my tire and he got me on the road in no time.... Thanks Charles C. Buckner

TERRIBLE experience & Rip Off

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On Saturday, May 18, I went to Tire Discounters on Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to have a tire repaired, if possible, or replaced. The Passenger side rear tire had gone flat the previous week and I had put Green Slime in it in an effort to repair it.

I spoke with the general manger, Emmanuel, that day and he said they'd take a look at it to see if it was repairable and give me a call.

Shortly after leaving, Emmanuel called and re-confirmed that it was the Passenger rear tire that he needed to look at.

About an hour or so later, Emmanuel called and told me that they looked at the tire and due to the green slime, it was not repairable and needed to be replaced. He also told me that two of my other tires were bald and needed replacing. I let him know we had just replaced two tires in March that still should be in good shape and he said that these must be the other two that needed replacing. Taking him at his word, I agreed & paid $402 to have three new tires put on my car (One to replace the tire with the green slime issue and two to replace the older two tires on the car).

Within a few days of picking up my car with the new tires, I noticed that my car was still making the sound at higher speeds it had been with the green slime tire.

I asked my husband to swing by Tire Discounters on his day off, Wednesday May 22, and have them recheck it and make sure it was balanced correctly and everything was okay from their work on that previous Saturday.

Upon arrival, they discovered two object in my passenger rear tire. Thinking this was one of the tires I purchased from Discount Tires in March, I took it across town to have them repair it since it should be under warranty with them. When they took that tire off to look at it, we discovered it was filled with green slime...it was the original tire I had asked Tire Discounters to inspect and repair/replace on Saturday....except they had left that tire on, untouched, and replaced another one. Not only that, but Discount Tires confirmed that the two tires they put on my car in March were no longer on the car....meaning, Tire Discounters took my two, barely used tires off my car and replaced them, despite them being brand new and not needing replacement.

When I returned to Tire Discounters to figure out what happened, I was talked to dismissively and like I did not know what I was talking about.

Emmanunel insisted that they changed the tire with the green slime in despite me having photographs of the tire with the slime in it. The other tire store has also held on to the tire for us to pick up for proof. I also have the receipt showing what tires were put on my car in March that are no longer there. They were taken off my car by Tire Discounters on Saturday.

I tried to show Emmanuel and he said he didn't need to see the receipt and that he knows what he did and he didn't do that.

He tried to give me coupons to remedy the situation which I refused (Why would I trust this company with my car after they messed up so badly and are refusing to fix it or make it right?)

To say I am incredibly upset & disappointed in this company would be an understatement. I've contacted corporate and am awaiting a response.

Tried to sell me something I didn't want

I went to Tire Discounters with some knowledge of what I wanted to buy, first the guy tells me the rims I want to put the tires on wont fit the car due to the brake calipers. (WRONG, the rims fit perfectly) second, he told me he could not give me the warranty if he mounted them.

(Well I got it at Goodyear) Third, He tried to sell me a different tire that would fit the same rim for more than twice the price of the tires I wanted. (Whatever happened to customer is always right)?

Don't worry, I have already decided that Goodyear will be my go to place for tires from that point forward, your so called sales guy was condescending at best. Myself, and my family, will NEVER go to a Tire Discounters again.

Worst workmanship I have ever had

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Worst workmanship I have ever had at the Springboro Ohio location, all four rooms were damaged in some fashion on my 2015 GMC sierra, this is the first time tires have been put on the truck therefore the damage was absolutely made from the tire change. The old valve stems were left The wheels were not balanced correctly with that being said almost positive there was no alignment

I would like to think the Middletown store and Joshua for the documentation, I would also like to thank the Vandalia store and Ben for the great customer service at resolving the issue with my rims. The Vandelia team did a very good job within a timely manner.

We picked up our vehicle from Tire Discounters only to discover damage to the passenger side front and back wheels and hub caps. When we brought it to the attention of the store manager, we were told it was like that when we brought the vehicle in for service. This is simply not true. The hubs are mangled and is clearly from the equipment used to lift a vehicle.

Purchase new rims and tires vehicle vibrates between 45 and 50 miles an hour

I purchased all new rims and new tires for my 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. I have been to the store approximately 5 different occasions to try and fix a vibration between 40 and 50 mph. My last visit they did exchange one tire under warranty, however this did not fix the problem. The gentleman at the store stated that if the problem did not go away I would have to purchase center hub spacers. I am not purchasing center hub spacers because when I purchased the tires and rims I should have been informed about those prior to the installation. I would very much like for this problem to be resolved. When I started this communication I was informed that the regional manager would contact me and this has not happened. I am very frustrated that it has taken this long to correct this problem.

Unprofessional Company

I had my oil and filter changed at Tire Discounters. I left the store and went home. I pulled out of my driveway and heard something bouncing on the highway. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw what I thought was a soda can bouncing on the road. I drove on down the road for 5 miles and the whole front end of my car started shaking and clanging. I looked down at my dials and saw NO OIL PRESSURE. I then realized it was the oil filter that fell off my car. I pulled the car over as soon as I could. I called Tire Discounters and told them what happened. I then called a relative of mine to take me home, THINKING that Tire Discounters would send a Tow Truck to get my car. No, instead they sent an idiot tech that put the wrong oil filter on my car to redo his work. He picked me up at my home and we went to my car. He then took my key and opened my truck to get the jack out. (This company doesn't even supply tools for their workers?) He jacked the car up and put the oil filter on and then opened the hood and then to my surprise, ''he cut his Mountain Dew bottle in half and used it as a funnel to put oil in my car''. Again, a sign of the professionalism of this company. He then started the car and it smoked like the Dukes of Hazard. He then closed the hood, took the jack out from under the car and put it in my truck. He then closed the trunk lid and looked at me and said, " I just locked your keys up in the trunk''. OMG. This was the only set of keys I had. He then had to call a locksmith. We waited on him to come and then they worked for almost two hours trying to get trunk unlocked. NO LUCK! Locksmith said they would have to call a Specialist to come and make a duplicate key to open my trunk. So then they had to send a Tow Truck to get my car. By then, I was sick. I told them to take my car to my house, I was done! The Specialist came and made a key for my car a day or two later after talking to Tire Discounters with them telling him they would pay him. Yet when he went to get his pay from Tire Discounters, they refused to pay him. He called me at my office furious. The Manager told me'' We felt since you requested an extra key that you would pay him''. I told the Manager, that I had a key and his employee locked my key up and that I didn't call this Specialist nor did I request an extra key. Tire Discounters still would not pay this man for his services. I told him to come to my office and I would pay him since he deserved to be paid for his services. Here again, proof of poor business practice by Tire Discounter, proving their word is worthless. District Manager called me and I told him I was going to take my car to the dealer and have the motor checked out. He said they didn't give their approval of that. I told him I didn't care if they approved or not. He said, Are you stating that you're unwilling to allow us to correct our ERRORS? I told him I would talk to my Attorney and get back with him. I had my motor checked and it was destroyed by Tire Discounters. They had two opportunities to correct their errors and send a Tow Truck to start with and have my motor checked, but instead chose to send a tech to put oil and filter on my car and send me on my way in a dangerous car. Not caring that it could have caught on fire or blown up. But they thought if they got me on the road again with the new oil filter/oil, then they would not be responsible afterwards. So luckily for me the guy locked the key in the truck. I sued Tire Discounters, and went without my car for almost a year while making payments on it. But they didn't care at all. By the time I paid Attorney and other cost, I lost 4 thousand dollars by holding Tire Discounters ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. And even in the end they still refused to pay the Key Specialist even thought hey told him they would pay him. My point is, if they're unwilling to back up the mistakes, they own up to...they're not going to back up anything else they have to offer. Bad tires or bad job, too bad, you're on your own. Take my advice and go somewhere else. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever witnessed. They could care less about the safety of their customers.
