Tire Discounters - Turned my car into a death trap on wheels.
My son had a 4 wheel alignment done last Saturday and when he drove it home and hit a bump in the road the entire back of the car fishtailed. Called and Steve Phillips the manager basically said don't know what's wrong but we didn't do it.
So I called corporate who told us to take the car back to station. After being told by them my bushings needed replaced the manager Steve said he thought it was far fetched to call corporate but since the call had been made he would " go ahead and replace my bushings". Not only did this not resolve the issue of the car fishtailing, but their mechanic test drove it and knew it still wasn't fixed. I was beside myself as I drove home when the next bump I hit literally threw my entire car into oncoming traffic.
Again corporate was called. Now the district manager calls and says my whole sway arm kit needs replaced and he was figuring out a price for me to pay to have my car which was fine before I took it there for an alignment , fixed so that I could drive it. ARE YOU SERIOUS ??????
I HAVE NOW LOST 4 DAYS OF WAGES BESIDES ALMOST GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT AND TIRE DISCOUNTERS COULD CARE LESS. I have filed a complaint with channel 12 trouble shooting team and with the better business bureau who on record have over 120 complaints with approx 80 unresolved for issues very similar to this.
